As a result of this course, you improve your communication skills and effectively spread climate awareness. This free course was created using materials from Climate Outreach and EIT Climate-KIC, as part of the #TalkingClimate project.

● No prior experience required in facilitation or communication techniques to participate.

● A microphone is required to participate in the exercises. Joining by video is recommended to enjoy the full workshop experience.

● You get to know communication techniques and tools from the #TalkingClimate project and support to facilitate a 2h workshop from advertisement to wrap up.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are part of the EU’s framework programmes for research and innovation. They support the training, career development and mobility of researchers in all scientific domains, at all stages of their careers and from all over the world.

In the area of Green Deal research, almost 500 projects have been supported so far, including 297 postdoc fellowships, 55 doctoral programmes, and 35 collaborative staff exchange projects.

This session illustrates how MSCA funding helps researchers find solutions to climate change & global health challenges.

Researchers must also navigate a publishing landscape that is constantly evolving. This session is designed for early career researchers who have little to no publishing experience. It will provide a basic overview of the current state of academic publishing to enable a better understanding of the process. The session will cover what to consider when choosing where to publish, Open Access, preparing your manuscript for publication, the peer review process and how to respond to reviewer reports, top reasons for rejection, and how to promote your work.
