Dr. Susanne Rentzow-Vasu

Regional Coordinator, EURAXESS ASEAN

Dr Susanne Rentzow-Vasu is the Regional Project Director for the European Commission-funded EURAXESS Worldwide network, a role she has held since 2012. EURAXESS supports researcher mobility and career development, while enhancing scientific collaboration between Europe and the world.

She is based in Singapore where she also runs her own consultancy providing political analyses and risk assessments as well as project management services to her clients. She has previously headed the Information Centre Singapore of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as its director from 2008 to 2012. Susanne also held the post of Senior Policy Officer with the European Union Delegation to Singapore with responsibility for the portfolios higher education and international cooperation. She holds a Master’s degree in European Union Studies from the University of Newcastle (UK) and a Ph.D in International Relations from the University of Wales Aberystwyth (UK).
