Dr Aazani Mujahid

Dr Aazani Mujahid is a senior lecturer and marine scientist who engages with local communities and researchers around the world on topics ranging from our coastal water ecosystems, climate change adaptation, and women in fisheries. She believes in the interdisciplinary approaches in co-creating solutions for many of the environmental issues faced in the marine sectors. She contributes her expertise on various Ministry and State panels; serves as the Vice President of the Malaysian Society for Marine Science; represents Malaysia to the CTI-CFF Women Leader Forum, and is part of the IUCN Expert Assessor in Malaysia for the IUCN Green List.
