Museum Siam, Bangkok | 20 May 2023

In extension of activities this month to celebrate Europe Day (9 May), the EU will be organising a food and craft fair showcasing initiatives by European and Thai sustainable small and medium-sized enterprises and producers.

Free and open to the public, the EU Sustainable Food and Craft Market 2023 will run from 11.00 to 20.00 (GMT+7) on 20 May 2023 at Museum Siam in Bangkok. Around 1 000 visitors are expected. They will have the opportunity to shop for healthy foods and eco-friendly products and enjoy family-friendly activities around recycling, food waste reduction and other forms of sustainable consumption and lifestyles.

The market, in continuation of last year’s on the occasion of Europe Day 2022, brings together a diverse range of SMEs and others with innovative ideas for sustainability. In support of the SDGs along with the European Green Deal, it promotes the EU’s Farm to Fork Strategy for fair, healthy and environmentally friendly food systems around the world.
