The EU Delegation to the Philippines (EUD) and EU Member States – together with Goethe Institut Manila – are proud to present the 26th edition of Cine Europa from 16 June to 16 July 2023.

Nothing can beat the enjoyment of watching your most-awaited films in cinemas, cinematheques and outdoor venues. Cine Europa 26 offers you these cinematic treats!

Cine Europa 26 brings 28 award-winning films from across the EU and guest country Ukraine. Showings will take place on site at venue partners in Metro Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod and Davao.

This year’s festival opens with the film Historja – Stitches for Sapmi. The Swedish documentary looks at Sami artist Britta Marakatt-Labba, whose work showcases the past and the present of Sami culture, and how reindeer husbandry is being affected by the global climate crisis.
