DLSU was cited as the most productive private research institution in the Philippines from 2014 to 2020 based on Scopus-indexed publications. 

Its faculty members are among the Top 100 researchers in the country, according to the 2022 AD Scientific Index (Alper-Doger Scientific Index). The Index ranks institutions based on the scientific performance and the productivity of individual scientists.

De La Salle University’s undergraduate engineering programs have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. 

Recognized by CHED as a leader in online learning, the University was tapped by the Commission to share its knowledge and expertise in blended learning to other schools as colleges and universities have shifted to online education due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
