The EU and ASEAN have a shared interest in safeguarding and promoting a rules-based international order and multilateralism, and their interregional engagement is essential in maintaining global and regional peace, stability and prosperity.

‘A Shared Future: The EU's Vision for the Indo-Pacific’ is the third talk of the public forum series jointly hosted by the EU Delegation to Thailand (EUD) and think tank Institute of Security and International Studies (ISIS Thailand). It will explore the EU's vision and strategic interests for cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, and their implications for Thailand and ASEAN as a whole.

The talk will feature a conversation with the EU's Special Envoy for the Indo-Pacific, Richard Tibbels, who will be joined by a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand (TBC) and an academic from the Faculty of Political Science at Chulalongkorn University.

The on-site event will take place Thursday, 9 March 2023 from 10.00 to 11.30 on Chulalongkorn University’s campus in Bangkok, in the Social Innovation Hub Room (1F) of the Visid Prachuabmoh Building.
