Nguyễn Việt Trung sinh năm 1996 tại Hà Nội. Năm 2003, anh nhập học Trường Âm nhạc Oskar Kolberg ở Warsaw trong lớp của Filomena Dziedzic. Năm 2009, anh trở thành học trò của Giáo sư Irina Rumiancewa-Dabrowski tại Trường Âm nhạc Karol Szymanowski ở Warsaw. Trung hiện đang theo học tại Học viện Âm nhạc Feliks Nowowiejski ở Bydgoszcz dưới sự hướng dẫn của Giáo sư Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron.

Anh đã giành được nhiều giải thưởng tại các cuộc thi piano, bao gồm giải nhất tại Liên hoan piano quốc gia lần thứ 17 "Chopin's Interpretations of the Young" ở Konin-Zychlin năm 2021, giải 5 tại Cuộc thi Chopin Quốc gia ở Warsaw năm 2020 và cuộc thi Fryderyk Chopin tại Warsaw năm 2020, Grand Prix tại Cuộc thi âm nhạc thính phòng quốc tế tại Việt Nam năm 2019, giải 3 cuộc thi Piano quốc tế Karlovac tại Croatia năm 2019, Grand Prix và giải nhất cuộc thi quốc gia CEA năm 2014.

Nguyet Viet Trung was born in 1996 in Hanoi. In 2003 he entered Oskar Kolberg School of Music Warsaw, class of Filomena Dziedzic. In 2009, he became a student of Professor Irina Rumiancewa-Dabrowski in Karol Szymanowski State Music School in Warsaw. Currently, Nguyen Viet Trung is studying at Feliks Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, under the guidance of Profesor Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron.

Trung has won many prizes at piano contests, including first prize at the 17th National Piano Festival "Chopin's Interpretations of the Young" in Konin-Zychlin 2021, 5th prize at the National Chopin Competition in Warsaw 2020 and at Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw 2020, Grand Prix in International Chamber Music Competition in Vietnam 2019, 3rd prize of Karlovac International Piano Competition in Croatia 2019, Grand Prix and first prize of CEA National Competition 2014.
