Experience the EU at the Philippines’ first ever Euro Village
Capitol Commons Park, Pasig City | 3-4 June 2023
On 3 and 4 June, the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines (EUD) invites you to a dynamic showcase of arts and culture from across the EU at its first ever Euro Village.
On display will be a broad range of food, crafts, music, sports and more from EU Member States Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Romania and Spain, along with guest country Ukraine.
It will also feature French, German, Italian and Spanish language lessons to the public in partnership with Alliance Française de Manille, Goethe Institut, Instituto Cervantes Manila and the Philippine-Italian Association.
Musical performances by Romanian and Ukrainian artists along with the Manila String Machine will headline the event, in addition to mimes and buskers throughout the course of Saturday and Sunday.
The event seeks to make the diversity of the EU and its people accessible to Filipinos, paving the way for closer exchange and trade opportunities. Its timing comes in celebration of Europe Day – the anniversary of the founding of the EU – on 9 May.
It further promotes sustainable lifestyles and reduced emissions, through the EU’s partnership with Green Space, Scholars of Sustenance Philippines and EcoNest.
